Semarang (29/03), Systematic Review is a research method that summarizes primary research findings to present a more comprehensive and balanced set of facts. Meanwhile, meta-analysis is one way to perform statistical synthesis of results (quantitative technique). Systematic review will be very useful for synthesizing various relevant research findings, so that the facts presented to policy-makers become more comprehensive and balanced.
The Visiting Lecturer Program of the Master of Public Health Program at FKM Undip (PS MKM FKM Undip) with the theme “Application of Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis in Health Policy Research” was held, featuring an expert speaker in the field of SDH, Prof. Bhisma Murti, dr., M.PH., M.Sc., Ph.D. from the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, moderated by Dr. Cahya Tri Purnami, S.KM, M.Kes, a lecturer at Universitas Diponegoro and the Secretary of the PS MKM FKM Undip. The event was held online via zoom, and many students of the DKM FKM UNDIP program, including alumni, were very enthusiastic to participate in this visiting lecturer program because of the valuable knowledge that would help them in completing their studies.
