Semarang (27/09), The long waiting period for the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro (FKM UNDIP) to have a Professor finally materialized after Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zen Rahfiludin, S.KM., M.Kes. officially inaugurated as Professor of Public Health Nutrition on Tuesday, 27 September 2022. Prof Zen is the first Professor at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University. This Professor inauguration event which was held at the Prof. Soedarto Diponegoro University hybrid and live streaming on the UNDIPTV youtube channel.
In the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Zen delivered a speech entitled “Prevention of Anemia in Women to Improve Breast Milk Quality”. “Mothers with poor nutritional status, such as anemia, will produce breast milk with less than optimal nutrition. To improve the quality of breast milk and ensure that children grow and develop optimally, women need to increase their nutritional intake both in terms of quality and quantity as recommended by the Guidelines for Balanced Nutrition.” is a brief description of the speech of Prof. Zen.
At the end of his speech, Prof. Zen said “I hope that the various researches that I have done can contribute to building a generation that is healthy and free from various diseases so that they can contribute to advancing Indonesia in the future.”
