Semarang (29/05) Air pollution refers to the contamination of air by any substances that can be harmful to living organisms, including humans. This can lead to various diseases, ranging from mild to severe. It is important to address air pollution promptly to prevent the emergence of diseases that can disrupt human and other organisms’ well-being.
To tackle this issue, the Visiting Professor Program was organized by the Master of Environmental Health Program at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro (MKL FKM Undip) with the theme “Air Pollution and Diseases.” The program featured an expert speaker, Prof. Dr. Mazrura Sahani from the Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Kebangsaan Malaysia. The session was moderated by Dr. Yusniar Hanani D., STP, M.Kes., a lecturer at Universitas Diponegoro. The program was conducted online via Zoom, and it received enthusiastic participation from many students of the doctoral Program at FKM Undip, including alumni. The knowledge gained from this visiting professor is highly beneficial for students in their academic pursuits.
